Overview

Job Summary:

– Ensure that the company is conducting its business in full compliance with all applicable regulations that pertain to its particular industry, as well as professional standards and accepted business practices.

– Role plays an essential role in helping to preserve the integrity and reputation of the organisation.

– Common tasks include monitoring the organisation’s activities and controls and identifying and analysing regulatory risk areas, design and implement solutions to address any identified regulatory risks, develop compliance programs for new regulations and oversee employee training/ compliance awareness.

– The goal is to preserve the Companys integrity by making sure it stays on a lawful and ethical course.

Role and Responsibilities:

– Dissemination of new guidelines and relevant actionable to relevant stakeholder, as and when issued and ensure implementation of same within organization

– Review of various documents including policies, process notes, forms, customer communications, credit proposals etc. to ensure that they are in compliance with applicable regulatory norms and closure with relevant stakeholders

– Compliance monitoring through various tools

– Preparation of MIS, reports for senior management reporting

– Preparation and/or review at regular frequency of policies, process documents etc. of compliance group and take actions till last mile of approval and implementation

– Handling inspections and related matters, coordination with other groups for various inspection requirements till end ensuring completion of actionable s

– Dealing with regulatory authorities

– Handling regulatory communications, requirements in coordination with relevant stakeholders

– Undertake activities for compliance awareness within organisation/ among employees including conducting various forms of trainings

– Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control

– Evaluating the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously

– Collaborate with various departments within organisation to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations

– Assess the businesss future ventures to identify possible compliance risks

– Activities related to SOAX, AML

Must haves for the role:

– Experience or knowledge of financial industry and regulations

– Knowledge of the industrys standards and regulations and corporate governance best practices

– Knowledge of SOAX, AML related matters

– Ability to work under pressure situations and meet timelines

– High ethical standards and work diligently to complete the duties keeping in mind the objectives of the business

– Willingness for travelling to branches across PAN India

– Flexible approach in taking up new role/ assignments as per organisations requirements
