Overview
Responsibilities:
1. Evaluate Investment Proposals: Assess investment opportunities including debt, equity (both listed and unlisted), across various market caps and sectors. From ideation to execution, analyze potential investments to determine suitability and potential returns.
2. Report Analysis to Management: Prepare detailed reports summarizing the analysis of investment proposals. Highlight key findings, risks, and potential returns for Management review, providing clear insights to facilitate decision-making processes.
3. Recommend Investment Strategies: Utilizing comprehensive analysis, provide informed recommendations to Management on investment opportunities. Offer suggestions for investment in various products and instruments within different asset classes, aligning with the organization’s investment objectives.
4. Monitor Investment Portfolio: Continuously monitor the performance of the investment portfolio across different asset classes. Track market changes, economic trends, and regulatory shifts to assess their impact on portfolio investments.
5. Optimize Portfolio Returns: Identify opportunities to optimize portfolio returns by suggesting changes in the investment mix, asset allocation, and investment strategies across diverse asset classes. Actively seek avenues for enhancing overall portfolio performance.
6. Stay Informed: Keep abreast of market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends across different asset classes. Utilize this knowledge to inform investment decisions and strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
7. Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other members of the investment team to share insights, collaborate on analysis, and contribute to overall investment strategy development. Foster a collaborative environment conducive to generating innovative investment ideas.
8. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while managing investment activities across various asset classes. Assess and mitigate investment risks effectively to safeguard the interests of the organization.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CA) preferred.
– Proven experience in investment analysis, financial modeling, and portfolio management across multiple asset classes including Wealth Management, PMS, AIF, Equity, and Debt instruments.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and market information across diverse asset classes.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present analysis and recommendations effectively to Management.
– Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision in analysis and reporting.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
– Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
– Understanding of investment principles, financial markets, and regulatory frameworks across various asset classes.
