Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

– Supporting our clients on multiple projects on investment banking mandates

– Preparing pitch books, industry reports, deals and peers screening, company profiles, macroeconomic updates and company-focused discussion documents related to various industries.

– Preparing financial analysis including trading/ transaction comparable, operational/ financial bench-marking, valuation analysis etc.

– Operational/ financial bench-marking, valuation, public market information, and performance ratio analysis

– Updates weekly/monthly capital market updates

– Meet project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure high client satisfaction

– Conducting quality control check of the outgoing reports/packs

– Engage client independently on calls and e-mails

– Produce high-quality informative and visually appealing presentations and deck

– Reviewing new customer accounts and verifying their identities

– Assessing risks and compliance issues associated with customers or products

– Studying market trends and evaluating customer behaviour

– Assisting efforts aimed at preventing money laundering, terrorist financing and other illicit financial activities

– Compiling accurate and up-to-date data on customers for compliance reasons

– Leveraging insights from customer behavioural research to improve customer experience

– Liaising with management to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

– Preparing suspicious activity reports (SARs)

– Reporting accounts with high risk or missing documentation to relevant officers

– Performing complex data analysis to aid decision making

Desired Candidate Profile:

– Good analytical skills, eye for numbers and strong accounting knowledge

– Knowledge of ratio analysis, valuation and related methodologies

– Strong organisational skills, self-starter with an ability to consolidate and analyse data received from clients.

– Will be required to conduct online research, industry data mapping, sector mapping

– Excellent reporting and observational skills

– Strong written and oral communication skills

– Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple projects

– Well-developed IT skills

– Interpersonal skills

– Excellent research skills and familiarity with online/offline research tools
