Investment Manager – Family Office (Kolkata Based)
Michael Page has been mandated to hire an “Investment Manager ” for a new setup Family Office based in Kolkata focusing on investments in early-stage startups and public markets. The candidate will be required to establish and grow the Family Office.
Key Responsibilities:
– Demonstrated leadership skills in growing a family office or strong experience in Buy Side/ Sell Side Equity Research
– Portfolio Management: Build and manage portfolios across public markets and early-stage private investments
– Investment Research & Due Diligence: Conduct deep analysis of potential opportunities across sectors
– Asset Allocation & Strategy: Define and update investment strategies aligned with long-term financial goals
– Reporting & Performance Monitoring: Deliver clear, periodic performance updates to the family principals or investment committee
– Risk Management: Ensure investments align with defined risk parameters, tax frameworks, and legal structures
– Relationship Management: Maintain strong working relationships with advisors, banks, legal/tax consultants, and internal stakeholders
Technical Skills Required:
– CA (preferred) / MBA
Experience / skills required:
– Previous background in Family Office, VC, Buy Side/ Sell Side Equity Research
– Solid understanding of Investment Research, Due Diligence, Portfolio Management
– Total Experience: 6 – 8 years
– Sector expertise: No specific sector expertise required
