About the Role-
As part of the Asset Backed Strategies team, you’ll support the front office in delivering cutting-edge research and analysis for CMBS/CRE loans and bonds. Your expertise will directly contribute to the investment decision-making process, enabling impactful trades in the ABS markets.
Key Responsibilities-
– Conduct detailed analysis of CMBS/CRE loans and bonds, including investment analysis, property valuation, and cash flow modeling.
– Develop bespoke financial models and perform data-driven investment and relative value analysis.
– Generate innovative research ideas and collaborate with the trading desk for seamless execution.
– Evaluate loan and property collateral in new issue and secondary CMBS markets.
– Monitor existing investments, provide timely recommendations, and assess risk based on market developments.
– Focus on CMBS investments within the USA market.
What We’re Looking For-
Basic Qualifications-
– A finance degree (MBA) or an equivalent qualification.
– Minimum 5 years of financial research or analysis experience, with a strong focus on CMBS/CRE investments.
– Expertise in financial modeling and market research.
– Proven ability to generate actionable investment strategies.
– Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex ideas effectively.
– Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and commitment to deadlines.
– Team-oriented mindset with a track record of collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications-
– CFA designation or progress toward obtaining the charter.
