Overview

Manager – Accounting – US GAAP/R2R/P2P/O2C – USA based Shared Business Unit

General Accounting & Compliance (R2R):

– Oversee end-to-end monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal policies.

– Ensure accurate preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany accounting.

– Review and sign off on financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Order to Cash (O2C):

– Monitor and manage the billing, collections, and cash application processes to optimize working capital.

– Coordinate with business units and treasury teams to resolve discrepancies in AR and ensure healthy DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).

– Review credit risk assessments and customer account reconciliations.

Procure to Pay (P2P):

– Manage end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, T&E reimbursements, vendor payments, and GR/IR reconciliations.

– Lead vendor master data governance and ensure compliance with procurement and payment policies.

– Coordinate with procurement and treasury teams to optimize cash flow and payment cycles.

Audit & Controls:

– Ensure adherence to SOX/internal controls and support internal/external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.

– Develop and implement internal controls and standard operating procedures across R2R, P2P, and O2C.

Team Management & Process Improvement:

– Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals across the three towers (R2R, P2P, O2C); conduct regular performance reviews and upskilling.

– Identify and drive process improvement initiatives, automation opportunities, and ERP enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Stakeholder Management:

– Act as a key liaison between the India Shared Services team and US finance stakeholders, ensuring seamless delivery and strong alignment with business needs.

– Support FP&A, Tax, and Compliance teams with accurate and timely financial data for reporting and strategic decision-making.
