Overview
ONLY For Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) certification or a Master’s degree in Finance or CA/CMA Inter candidates with relevant work experience.
Key responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (MOP, QOP & AOP):
– Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
– Provide actionable financial insights and strategic recommendations to drive business decisions.
– Develop robust financial models and analyses to support growth initiatives, cost optimization, and profitability improvement.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless end-to-end financial planning.
– Monitor and report on critical profitability metrics, including pricing, margins, and supply chain efficiency.
– Partner with supply chain and category teams to analyze and optimize costs across the value chain.
Business Planning and OKRs:
– Jointly own the OKRs for respective business units and build an Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to achieve them.
– Identify and assess key risks and opportunities to ensure the business meets its goals.
– Develop financial plans with business and technology teams using a bottom-up approach.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
– Conduct in-depth variance analyses and communicate findings to drive visibility and action planning.
– Track, measure, and report on key financial and business metrics for respective business units.
– Manage account-level month-end closing reviews, procedures, and corrections as required.
– Direct and oversee revenue cycle activities, optimizing operations through policies, objectives, and initiatives.
Strategic Financial Advisory:
– Perform scenario analyses and develop business plans for product enhancements or new business initiatives.
– Handle ad hoc financial requests, providing appropriate analysis and commentary to support decision-making.
– Lead and participate in process standardization and automation projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Leadership and Collaboration:
– Conduct periodic meetings with direct reports to review progress and align on objectives.
– Foster strong collaborations with stakeholders across various functions to drive business outcomes.
– Reporting will be to the Head of finance.
Qualifications
– Chartered Accountant (CA) / Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) certification or a Master’s degree in Finance.
– 4-6 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in business finance.
– Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems.
– Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
– Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
