Job opening for Manager – Finance & Accounts role in a NBFC at Mumbai.

Role: Manager – Finance & Accounts

Working Days: 6 Days

Work Mode: Work from Office

Roles & Responsibilities:

– Prepare and finalize standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with IND AS and other applicable accounting standards.

– Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing and reporting processes.

– Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of financial reports in coordination with auditors and internal stakeholders.

– Lead the consolidation of financials across multiple entities or subsidiaries.

– Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory compliance requirements, including the Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, etc.

– Act as a key liaison with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants during audits and for financial reporting matters.

– Review journal entries, general ledger accounts, and trial balances to maintain accuracy and consistency.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Taxation, and Business units to support financial reporting needs.

– Stay informed on changes to IND AS, RBI guidelines (if applicable, e.g., for NBFCs), and evolving financial reporting standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

– Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification – mandatory.

– Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in Finance and Accounts, with a strong focus on Financial Reporting and IND AS compliance.

– Hands-on experience in preparing financial statements and consolidating financials for group entities.

– In-depth knowledge of IND AS, the Companies Act, and other applicable regulatory frameworks.

– Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting platforms such as Tally, SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems (preferred).

– Strong analytical thinking and effective communication skills.

– Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage tight deadlines.
