Job Summary:

– The Manager – Tax & Accounts is a key role with oversight responsibilities for tax computations, regulatory reporting, and supporting the tax and audit processes.

– This position requires a blend of technical tax knowledge and management skills to ensure effective department operations.

Key Responsibilities:

– Oversee month-end tax computations and accounting entries.

– Manage regulatory reporting requirements.

– Prepare necessary documentation for Income Tax, GST, Transfer Pricing, and other tax obligations.

– Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.

– Coordinate data gathering and review for submissions to external authorities and auditors.

Essential Skills and Duties:

– Liaise with external audit and tax firms to ensure compliance with statutory and tax audits.

– Prepare and review a range of financial reports and tax returns.

– Uphold robust accounting practices and internal controls.

– Analyze financial data to suggest improvements for system and financial performance.

– Lead the month-end close process, including general ledger reconciliations and complex analyses.

– Manage, mentor, and train team members, optimizing team structure for continuous professional development and business success.

Decision-Making and Supervision:

– Operate with autonomy to set objectives and determine methods of completion.

– Utilize management expertise to guide team members within company policies.

Qualifications:

– CA (Chartered Accountant) with over 6 years of relevant experience.

– Proficiency in ERP systems, and comprehensive knowledge of Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, and GST regulations.

– Familiarity with IND AS / US GAAP and Indian Tax laws.

Success Factors:

– Expertise in specialized tax and accounting functions.

– Advanced skills in MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
