US Tax Manager Bengaluru
Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented US Tax Manager to join our dynamic finance team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end US federal, state, and local tax compliance and reporting, ensuring timely filings, maintaining compliance with IRS regulations, and advising on tax planning strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Lead and manage US federal and state tax compliance, including income tax, franchise tax, sales & use tax, and other applicable filings.
– Review and prepare US tax returns, estimated tax calculations, and quarterly/year-end tax provisions.
– Collaborate with external consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate filings.
– Conduct detailed tax research and advise on the implications of changes in U. tax law.
– Support audits and resolve notices from IRS or state tax authorities.
– Assist in international tax planning and transfer pricing documentation.
– Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control policies.
– Identify opportunities for tax process improvements and automation.
Role Requirements:
– Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
– CPA or EA certification is highly preferred.
– 4 to 6 years of hands-on US taxation experience in a Big 4 firm or MNC environment.
– Deep understanding of US GAAP, federal and state tax laws, and IRS compliance requirements.
– Proficient in tax software (e.g., OneSource, GoSystem, CCH) and Excel.
– Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with 2 days hybrid work flexibility as per company policy.
