Manager Finance (Closing & Reporting Lead)
Job Summary:
– Responsible for delivering meaningful & actionable business insights to business finance through internal MIS, Reporting & Dashboard.
– Ensuring accurate & timely periodic closing activities, data collection & analysis.
– Cater to adhoc and periodic information requests raised by business finance, CoE and other cross functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
– Maintain finance MIS system: Maintain financial management information systems, including databases, software applications, and reporting tools.
– Ensure the systems are efficient, reliable, and accurate.
– Data collection & analysis: Analyze financial transactions and organize it to deliver meaningful insights from data.
– Create periodic management reports units/regions performance and initiatives to provide insights for strategic decision making.
– Period Closure Activities: Perform period close activities covering review of financial transactions, hygiene checks, provisioning and recording of accruals, inventory adjustments, reconciliations etc as per compliances to applicable financial reporting framework.
– Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
– Support business finance, CoE teams and cross functional teams in concluding audits successfully with reports as required from time to time.
– Stakeholder management: Collaborate with CoE teams, cross-functional teams, including business finance, sales, operations, supply chain and IT, to gather financial data, align reporting requirements, and ensure data consistency.
– Team Management: Lead a team of financial analysts and reporting professionals.
– Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to enhance their skills, productivity, and career development.
– Monitoring of the defined SLAs and ensuring their compliances.
Qualification:
– CA/MBA with 4-6 years post qualification work experience in Alcobev/manufacturing/FMCG or similar industries.
– Strong knowledge of financial transactions, reporting including Ind AS and IFRS, financial systems, data analysis tools, and reporting software.
– Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate meaningful insights.
– Project management and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
– Hands-on approach, proactive attitude, and ability to work successfully in a fast-paced team environment with the ability to drive change organizationally through new processes and innovation.
– Leadership abilities with a track record of managing teams effectively.
