Overview

Education & Knowledge:

– Qualified COST accountant / ICWA/CMA.

– CA/CPA is additional but not compulsory.

– General accounting.

– SAP proficiency.

– Excel and office tools.

– Manufacturing processes knowledge.

Work Experience:

– Minimum 10 years of plant cost control experience in an industrial environment.

Role and Responsibilities

Produce the periodic statements for the reporting:

– Manage data in SAP to be able to produce an accurate monthly production report.

– Update raw materials and semi-finished products, control stocks and analyze discrepancies.

– Provide direct labor productivity reporting and analysis and with machine hour analysis.

– Estimate product costs & supervise complete cycle of standard costing and review of standard costing on timely manner.

– Edit, control the stock of finished products, and calculate obsolescence.

– Calculate the obsolescence of cutters purchased, consigned, and reclaimed.

– Recalculate PPVs, JCV & other variances.

– Cost Run and Cycle counting activities.

Supervise & Control Accounting closings:

– Manage month-end closing and prepare monthly financial statements and other operational reports for site.

– Manage the inventories with respect of the inventory procedures.

– Ensure the reliability of inventory levels, as well as report inventory levels

– Control and manage the inventories of raw materials, in progress and finished products on the site.

– GL scrutiny & providing manufacturing P & L with accurate reporting.

– Control and manage the inventories of fixed assets on the site.

– Reconcile these inventories with the accounts and control perspective on inventory and stock periodically manner where Physical vs actual variance analysis.

– Perform reconciliations between accounting statements and results from reporting and dashboards.

Assist the Plant Manager and other Managers in the analysis and monitoring of indicators:

– Present the report during the monthly meeting and analyze variances and communicates explanations to management.

– Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine the progress of the department or division toward established goals and objectives.

– Support and challenge the operational teams in the management of their activity and identify and propose corrective measures to improve profitability.

– Help them if necessary to develop analysis tables (data from SAP, setting up an Excel table).

– Monitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with corporate policies) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks. Follow up on their compliance.

– Monitoring and review of productivity and efficiency metrics of the production area.

– Manage the annual budget and monthly forecasts.

Develop Management Procedures and Tools:

– Set up procedures and management tools.

– Develop reporting and internal procedures according to group requests.

– Design business dashboards.

– Answer to requests from internal and external auditors during periodic audits.
