Role & responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
– Lead the product management group within the organization.
– Design the product value proposition for Wealth Management.
– Analyze various investment products such as PMS, AIF, Mutual Funds, and Structured Products, conducting due diligence for inclusion in our offerings.
– Develop innovative product offerings, both standardized and bespoke, based on competitive market analysis.
– Track and enhance the performance of launched products to maintain a competitive edge.
– Conceptualize and maintain collaterals, research notes, and investment insights.
– Manage and oversee existing products, including portfolio positioning, return analysis, and investment risk review.
– Take responsibility for the Investment Committee, generating monthly house views and model portfolios.
– Conduct analytics of client and model portfolios to ensure optimal performance.
– Provide high-quality, timely reports for clients with comprehensive coverage.
– Create regular updates on financial markets and economic trends.
– Ensure quarterly product benchmarking to maintain excellence.
– Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to drive technology-driven solutions.
– Establish a knowledge platform through digital events and educational initiatives.
– Contribute to building a strong social media presence by curating high-quality investment-related content.
– Liaise with market data aggregators and research providers.
– Foster strong engagement with investment and RM teams.
– Negotiate superior commercial terms with manufacturers.
Compliance & Knowledge Sharing:
– Ensure adherence to all SEBI/IRDA/RBI guidelines and internal compliance procedures while approving products.
– Ensure necessary certifications for teams to comply with regulatory requirements.
– Organize investment conclaves, training programs, and quizzes for Wealth RMs to enhance knowledge sharing.
Preferred Qualifications:
– MBA in Finance or a related field.
– Deep understanding of capital markets, mutual fund industry, and investment nuances.
– Ability to multitask and excel in a high-pressure, performance-oriented environment.
– Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
– Passion for market analytics, economic trends, and investment research
