Overview:

– We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Credit Manager to join our growing team propelld.

– The Credit Manager will play a crucial role in evaluating and managing credit risks associated with our student lending portfolio.

– This individual will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, developing credit policies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

– The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in credit analysis, risk management, and a passion for contributing to the success of a forward-thinking fintech company.

Key Responsibilities:

– Assess, evaluate, and underwrite high-ticket loans ranging from – 40 to – 80 lakhs.

– Ensure credit decisions align with organizational policies and regulatory guidelines.

– Lead, mentor, and manage a team of credit analysts.

– Establish performance metrics and provide constructive feedback for team development.

– Identify and mitigate credit risks while maintaining a balanced risk-reward approach.

– Develop and enhance risk models to evaluate borrower profiles effectively.

– Work closely with business teams to understand customer requirements and provide solutions.

– Collaborate with operations and legal teams to ensure smooth disbursal and compliance processes.

– Streamline credit underwriting processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.

– Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance decision-making frameworks.

Requirements:

Experience:

– 5 to 8 years of experience in credit underwriting, specifically handling high-ticket size loans in a fintech or NBFC environment.

Educational Qualification:

– MBA, CA, or equivalent degree in Finance/Banking.

– Strong analytical skills with an in-depth understanding of credit risk assessment and underwriting.
