Job Details:
– Areas of past experience preferred: Consulting/ Accounting advisory
– Preferable additional certifications: Financial Risk Management/ Financial Advisory/Chartered Financial Analyst/ IFRS Diploma
Key responsibility areas:
– Knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS / US GAAP with working knowledge of differences from Indian GAAP to Ind AS.
– ECL model development and validations.
– Provide advisory services to clients on areas related to IFRS 9 including impairment modelling, PD and LGD modelling, hedge accounting and EIR based amortization
– Ability to write technical / supervisory memos / advisory documentation.
– Ability to analyze financial statements and suggest treatment for different financial assets / liabilities under different accounting standards
– Provide advisory services to the client on accounting areas such as IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, IFRS 17 or equivalent local standards
– Accounting treatment for different products as per the local regulatory requirements and accounting standards
– Advise clients on high-profile mandates in the financial services space with regards to complex and strategic issues
– Lead and responsible for team mentoring, project management and client delivery
– Drive the day-to-day execution of assigned client projects
– Understand the client’s business, key strategic essentials of the client, industry and market dynamics, and make/ implement recommendations appropriate for the client’s business needs to drive continuous improvement and generate value
– Stakeholder management in a project along with project management
