Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join for one of our client in Statutory Reporting team. This role focuses on the day-to-day preparation, review, and submission of balance sheet reports in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in financial reporting, a keen eye for accuracy, and experience working within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Balance Sheet Management: Ensure accurate and timely preparation, analysis, and reporting of balance sheet items.
Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS/GAAP and other applicable accounting standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements, working closely with auditors and regulatory bodies.
Reconciliation & Analysis: Conduct detailed reconciliations of financial data, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
Audit Support: Coordinate and support external and internal audits, addressing queries and providing required documentation.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of statutory reporting.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with finance, tax, and other cross-functional teams to ensure seamless statutory reporting processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certifications: CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
Experience: 4+ years of experience in statutory reporting, balance sheet analysis, or financial reporting within a Big 4 firm or a similar corporate environment.
Technical Skills:
– Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and statutory reporting requirements.
– Proficiency in financial reporting tools (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, or similar systems).
– Advanced Excel skills for financial modeling and data analysis.
