Role Summary

The Senior Manager Finance & Accounts is responsible for overseeing end-to-end financial operations, statutory compliances, budgeting, MIS reporting, internal controls, and financial analysis. The role ensures accurate financial reporting, drives financial planning, manages audits, and supports strategic business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

– Manage day-to-day accounting operations and month-end / year-end closure activities.

– Ensure timely preparation of financial statements as per Ind AS/GAAP.

– Review and approve journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, and reconciliations.

– Monitor cash flow, funds utilization, and working capital requirements.

2. Budgeting, Forecasting & MIS

– Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts.

– Prepare and present Monthly MIS Reports, profitability analysis, cost variance analysis.

– Support senior leadership in business strategy with data-driven insights.

3. Compliance & Audit

– Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, TDS, FEMA, PF/ESI, etc.

– Liaise with statutory auditors, internal auditors, and tax consultants.

– Ensure timely submission of regulatory returns and filings.

– Strengthen internal controls & implement risk mitigation measures.

4. Payables, Receivables & Treasury Management

– Oversee vendor payments, customer billing & collections.

– Manage banking operations, fund transfers, LC/BG, and treasury instruments.

– Optimize working capital and monitor credit control processes.

5. Team & Stakeholder Management

– Lead and mentor the Finance & Accounts team.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, HR, Sales & Operations.

– Provide financial guidance to management for key business decisions.

Key Skills & Competencies

– Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, GST, Income Tax, TDS, Banking & Audit.

– Proficiency in Tally ERP / SAP / Oracle / ERP Systems.

– Advanced Excel & Financial Analysis skills.

– Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

– High integrity and attention to detail.

Qualifications

– CA

– 8 to 15 years of experience in Finance & Accounts with at least 3+ years in a managerial role.
