Overview

Key Responsibilities

– Proactively source startup debt/lending opportunities in early-stage companies across sectors

– Build and maintain strong relationships with startup founders, micro VCs, angel investors, institutional lenders, and venture platforms

– Lead financial and business due diligence, structure transactions, and manage deal closures

– Maintain and monitor lending portfolios, ensuring healthy credit quality and performance

– Define and implement robust credit policies to drive consistency and standardization

– Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to achieve division growth and financial goals

– Represent the company at industry events, investor forums, and startup ecosystems to enhance visibility and identify new opportunities

– Manage the end-to-end lending lifecycle: sourcing, evaluation, due diligence, deal structuring, term sheet negotiation, and closure

– Actively participate in Credit Committee meetings and support data-driven decision-making

– Collaborate with legal, compliance, finance, and risk teams for smooth and timely execution

– Work closely with internal teams to drive operational efficiency and improve turnaround time

Candidate Requirements

– Minimum 5 years’ experience in lending, venture debt, NBFCs, investment banking, structured finance, or credit roles

– Proven track record in sourcing or credit underwriting, deal execution, and portfolio management

– Strong understanding of financial analysis, credit risk, and investment structuring

– Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

– Strategic mindset with ability to lead and collaborate across functions
