Senior Role – Global Reporting & Consolidation – Manufacturing – CA

A leading and well-established chemical manufacturer with over 60 years of experience, has successfully secured a dominant position in India’s chemical industry
Job Responsibilities:
Global Financial Reporting :
– Lead end-to-end consolidation process for the group
– Establish global accounting policies and procedures
– Manage intercompany eliminations and adjustments
– Oversee group-wide chart of accounts
– Implement consolidation systems and processes
– Drive standardization of reporting processes
– Manage post closure Business combination accounting (PPA)
– Oversee regional controller and financials of companies monitored by regional controller
Statutory & Regulatory Reporting :
– Ensure compliance with multiple GAAP requirements (Ind AS, IFRS, local GAAP)
– Oversee preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements
– Manage statutory audit processes across jurisdictions
– Review all statutory filings and disclosures
– Handle complex accounting treatments and disclosures
– Drive resolution of audit findings
Process Standardization :
– Optimize closing calendar and timelines
– Implement robust consolidation tools
– Establish reporting controls and documentation
– Drive automation initiatives
– Manage reporting system upgrades
Workplace Safety, IMS Compliance, ESG Commitment :
– Ensure compliance with safety regulations, participate in training, and report safety concerns promptly.
– Adhere to IMS standards, maintain documentation, and support audits and corrective actions.
– Contribute to ESG initiatives, ensure environmental compliance, and promote resource efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience :
– CA with additional certifications
– Min. 15+ years of experience in financial reporting
– Global exposure & mind-set is preferred
– Experience in managing global reporting teams
– Strong knowledge of multiple accounting standards
– Experience in post-merger integration
– Chemical/manufacturing industry experience preferred
