Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Wealth Sales Manager to join our team, focusing exclusively on investment products (Mutual Funds, Portfolio Management Services (PMS), and Alternate Investment Funds (AIF)) with a minimum Asset Under Management (AUM) target of 250 Crores. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial services, exceptional relationship management skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets within the High-Net-Worth (HNI) segment.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Portfolio Management
– Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all wealth management needs.
– Understand clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, and time horizon to provide customized investment, insurance, and comprehensive wealth planning solutions.
– Conduct regular, in-depth portfolio reviews and recommend tactical and strategic adjustments based on dynamic market conditions and evolving client needs.
– Prepare and present periodic performance reports to clients, detailing portfolio returns, asset allocation, and market outlook.
Sales & Business Development
– Achieve sales and revenue targets set by the business, specifically focusing on building and managing an AUM of at least 250 Crores exclusively across Mutual Funds, PMS, and AIF products.
– Proactively identify new business opportunities through client referrals, targeted networking, and effective cross-selling of investment products to existing client base.
– Develop and implement strategic sales plans to acquire new HNI clients and deepen relationships with current clientele.
Collaboration & Expertise
– Work closely and collaboratively with internal product specialists (e.g., investment advisors, research analysts, insurance experts) to deliver holistic and comprehensive financial solutions.
– Stay updated on market trends, financial products, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors to provide timely and well-informed investment advice.
Compliance & Risk Management
– Ensure strict compliance with all internal risk management policies, regulatory guidelines, and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
– Maintain the highest ethical standards in all client interactions and transactions.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
– Mandatory: Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent postgraduate degree, preferably with a specialization in Finance.
– Relevant certifications (e.g., NISM certifications, CFP) are highly desirable.
Experience (YoE)
– A minimum of 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, or Investment Sales, specifically dealing with HNI clients.
– Demonstrated success in achieving high sales targets and managing a significant AUM base (preferably 150 Cr) in a previous role.
– Proven expertise in selling investment-only products (MF, PMS, AIF).
