Job Description –
– Plan and execute statutory audit engagements in compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.
– Coordinate with external audit firms to ensure timely completion of the audit process.
– Review financial statements and ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
– Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements affecting the industry.
– Implement and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
– Provide guidance to the finance team on accounting treatment and disclosure requirements.
– Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
– Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather relevant financial information for reporting purposes.
– Ensure adherence to reporting timelines and submission of financial statements to regulatory authorities.
– Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and compliance, to ensure a cohesive approach to financial management.
– Provide training and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
