Overview

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Project Delivery

– Lead the design and execution of end-to-end strategic Finance programs (eg. Purchase To Pay tool implementation, EPM implementation, Process Optimization..).

– Manage and mentor a distributed team of project managers.

– Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics in collaboration with senior stakeholders.

– Ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of initiatives.

2. Governance & Risk Management

– Implement and maintain governance frameworks and reporting standards.

– Monitor project performance, manage dependencies, and escalate risks or delays when needed.

– Oversee financial tracking, budget management, and resource planning.

3. Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership

– Act as a key point of contact for project sponsors and executive stakeholders.

– Drive alignment across business functions and geographies.

– Contribute to the broader Finance transformation narrative through proactive communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.

4. Change & Communication Strategy

– Ensure effective change management practices are embedded into all core projects.

– Collaborate with the Change Management team to support training, communication, and user adoption activities.

– Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Must have:

– Experience: 12-15 years in project or program management, ideally within a Finance Transformation or Consulting environment (Big 4).

– Strong understanding of Finance processes and systems (Sage X3, Basware, Board knowledge is a plus).

– Project Skills: Solid background in governance, budget tracking, risk management, and cross-functional coordination.

– Proven experience in managing large-scale Finance transformation programs.

– Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, PMP, PRINCE2).

– Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and complex projects across international and matrixed organizations.

– Mindset: Strategic thinker with strong operational execution; thrives in dynamic, fast-paced settings.

– Communication: Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership& fluency in english.
