Overview
Responsibilities:
– Technical and disciplinary management of the accounting SSC India
– Develop and foster a best-in-class service oriented culture
– Organization and supervision of the in-house allocation of tasks and responsibilities to the employees
– Responsibility for financial performance and efficiency targets
– Prepare the annual Finance SSC business plan and build budget for approvals
– Supervision of the compliance of relevant fiscal and legal requirements
– Management of the European cross-border accounting processes
– Standardization, harmonization and automation of accounting processes via enabling IT
– Further development and optimization of the SSC-organization
– Harmonize, optimize and implement standard, globally consistent processes and facilitate the integration of new activities into the SSC
Graduate or Post Graduate in commerce/Economics/Engineering.
– Leadership position held in SSC-type environment
– More than 10 years of relevant experience in a similar leadership role.
– Significant experience in a senior accounting role and solid experience in accounting working in a global organization is essential
– Established experience in process and project management as well as personnel management
– Very good MS-Office skills
– Very good knowledge of SAP-FI, CO and MM
– Fluent in spoken and written German and English; additional European languages are a plus
– Excellent leadership skills
– Excellent understanding of the critical success factors for the SSC as a reliable, effective, and efficient business service provider
– Ability to manage diverse stakeholders with divergent agendas.
