Job Role: Team Member-Operational Risk Management- NBFC
Location: Mumbai
Key Role :
– Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across wholesale lending, outsourcing, and internal financial control processes.
– Develop and implement robust operational risk management frameworks and policies.
– Ensure adherence to operational risk management policies and procedures.
– Oversee and manage operational risks associated with wholesale lending activities.
– Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure appropriate risk mitigation measures are in place.
– Work closely with the wholesale lending team to identify potential risks and develop strategies to address them.
– Assess and manage risks associated with outsourcing activities.
– Ensure third-party vendors comply with the organization’s risk management policies and regulatory requirements.
– Conduct due diligence and ongoing monitoring of outsourcing partners.
– Develop and maintain Risk Control Matrices (RCM) for various processes within the organization.
– Perform regular control testing to ensure the effectiveness of internal financial controls.
– Identify control deficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
– Conduct regular risk assessments and prepare comprehensive risk reports for senior management and the board.
– Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and report any significant changes or trends.
– Ensure timely and accurate reporting of operational risk events and incidents.
– Coordinate with internal and external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.
– Develop and deliver training programs to enhance risk awareness and promote a risk-conscious culture within the organization.
– Provide guidance and support to business units on risk management best practices.
Education – MBA/ CA preferred
Must have: Candidate must have operational risk experience and should be familiar with wholesale assets and audit
Good to have: Worked on IFC (Internal Financial Control) will be an added advantage.
