Overview
Assistant Manager – Finance
Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
1. Assist in preparing financial forecasts and monthly reports for e-commerce and modern trade channels.
2. Analyze sales trends and financial performance, providing insights to help improve profitability.
Debtor Management:
1. Assist in managing the aging of receivables, ensuring timely collection of payments from customers in e-commerce and modern trade.
2. Track and report on debtor balances, ensuring accurate financial reporting and minimizing outstanding.
BTL Provisions and Actualization:
1. Own the BTL provision booking process in line with plan for the month
2 .Track and actualize BTL, ensuring alignment with the budget and providing analysis on spending effectiveness.
3. Work with sales teams to ensure that spend is accurately reflected in financial reports.
Revenue Recognition:
Assist in reviewing and validating revenue-related transactions, including discounts, rebates, and promotional activities, ensuring proper accounting treatment.
Business Support & Collaboration:
1. Work closely with the ecommerce, modern trade, and sales teams to provide financial insights on pricing strategies, promotions, and customer negotiations.
2. Help evaluate the financial impact of promotional activities and customer deals.
Cost and Margin Management:
1. Support the team in tracking margins and identifying cost-saving opportunities across ecommerce and modern trade channels.
2. Assist in analyzing profitability and financial efficiency within the channels.
General Financial Support: Provide general support to the finance team, including ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
