Overview
Our Client is a fast-growing startup in the ecommerce sector, backed by leading investors. We have been mandated to search for a VP of Finance & Accounts to establish strong financial controls, treasury, and taxation and fundraise and drive strategic financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
– Oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
– Implement and optimize financial processes, controls, and policies.
– Manage cash flow, working capital, and investor reporting.
– Ensure regulatory compliance (GAAP/IFRS, tax, audits, etc.).
– Support fundraising efforts, due diligence, and financial modeling.
– Leverage automation and ERP tools for financial efficiency.
– Collaborate with leadership on strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
– 12+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or controllership roles.
– Proven startup experience in a high-growth environment.
– Expertise in financial planning, investor relations, and automation.
– Strong knowledge of taxation, compliance, and cost control.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment and build processes from scratch.
– Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
– CA, CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance preferred.
