Role & Responsibilities:
– In charge of the credit department’s Pan Bank Board policy.
– Will be in charge of creating the Board Policy for retail and wholesale credit.
– Additionally, they will be in charge of creating procedures for the execution of such policies that are included in senior management committees and board-level committees.
– It is imperative to guarantee that policies and procedures are promptly adjusted to conform to modifications in RBI regulations and circulars.
– Comparing policies to the market and analyzing market trends and practices.
– Engaging with multidisciplinary groups, comprehending existing procedures, and subsequently suggesting modifications to policies and procedures.
– Keeping an eye on how approved policies and procedures are being implemented, spotting any holes, and fixing them.
– Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) celling, NBFC exposure celling, and group consolidation CAP of the bank’s significant exposure are all regularly monitored.
– Establishing the procedure to automate the celling/CAP monitoring process and guaranteeing that the result meets requirements.
– Emphasizing the derivation or red warning in the event of a deviation or increased use of the real limit.
– Understanding RBI requirement and ensuring reverse submission within timeline.
– Finding the bank’s division or department to submit the RBI reversal and working with the team to do so.
