About the Role:

We are seeking a senior Risk leader to head the Risk Analytics & Policy function for a large, fast-growing NBFC. This role will directly support the Chief Risk Officer and play a pivotal role in shaping the credit framework across multiple lending lines including Auto Loans, Two-Wheeler Finance, Used Vehicles, and Supply Chain Finance. The position involves steering the portfolio towards sustainable, profitable growth through strong analytics, disciplined underwriting policies, and proactive portfolio monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead formulation, review and optimisation of credit policies across business segments.

– Drive data-led risk analytics to strengthen credit decisioning and improve portfolio performance.

– Develop and enhance scorecards, risk models, segmentation strategies and early warning indicators.

– Monitor portfolio behaviour, risk trends and maintain strong control frameworks across acquisition & behavioural strategies.

– Partner closely with Business, Underwriting, Collections, Finance & Product teams to align risk appetite with growth objectives.

– Strengthen governance through robust credit monitoring, MIS dashboards and CRO / Board level reporting.

– Champion digitisation and automation initiatives in underwriting and risk evaluation processes.

Preferred Experience & Profile:

– 1016 years of experience in Credit Risk / Risk Analytics / Policy in a lending organisation.

– Strong exposure to retail lending portfolios; experience in Auto Loans, Two-Wheeler Finance, Used Vehicles or Supply Chain Finance will be a strong advantage.

– Demonstrated ability to translate analytical insights into business-impactful policy decisions.

– Strong stakeholder & cross-functional leadership skills; comfort influencing senior leadership.

– Strategic mindset balanced with willingness to get hands-on where needed.
