Position Overview:

The Senior Manager – Special Projects and New Initiatives will play a critical role in driving strategic transformation and business optimization at Zepto. This role involves leading high-impact projects, including business restructuring, IPO readiness, process streamlining, and financial compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of finance operations, and a track record of delivering innovative solutions in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Restructuring:

– Lead strategic projects focused on restructuring business units to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement restructuring plans.

2. Process Streamlining:

– Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks to improve financial and operational workflows.

– Implement automation solutions for repetitive finance processes.

3. Resource Optimization:

– Analyze resource allocation and recommend strategies for optimized planning and utilization.

– Develop frameworks to track and improve resource productivity.

4. IPO Readiness:

– Support preparations for Initial Public Offerings, including financial reporting, governance frameworks, and compliance.

– Coordinate with external advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure IPO milestones are met.

5. Ind AS & Regulatory Compliance:

– Oversee the application and maintenance of Ind AS standards and other Regulations across financial reporting.

– Provide technical guidance on complex accounting treatments.

6. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

– Deliver actionable insights through detailed financial analysis.

– Assist in creating dashboards for key financial metrics to support business decision-making.

7. Special Initiatives:

– Lead initiatives to explore new business models and revenue streams.

– Participate in mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnership Transactions

8. Project Management:

– Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met.

– Track and communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.

9. Stakeholder Management:

– Act as a key point of contact for senior leadership on strategic finance projects.

– Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

– Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is a must; CPA or MBA (Finance) is an added advantage.

– 4 – 6 years of experience in finance operations, business transformation, or strategic projects, preferably in high-growth startups or consulting.

– Proven experience in IPO activities, Ind AS application, and process improvement.

– Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities

Reporting Structure:

This role reports to the Associate Director or a designated senior leader within the finance function, with significant exposure to the executive leadership team.
