Overview
– The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, with a primary focus on procuring and managing finances of the company .
– This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to ensure financial sustainability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and execute strategies for finance procurement to support company growth and operational needs.
– Analyze and evaluate financing options, including but not limited to loans, credit facilities, and other instruments.
– Prepare financial forecasts and budgets to guide the company’s strategic planning.
– Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity to ensure operational efficiency.
– Collaborate with the executive team to identify financial risks and opportunities.
– Oversee financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accurate representation of financial status.
– Manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
– Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
– Lead the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
– Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (CFA, CPA) preferred.
– Proven experience in financial management, particularly in debt procurement or corporate finance.
– Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a startup environment.
